CALL TO ARTISTS

The call to artists for the Triennale Internationale des Arts Textiles en Outaouais 2019 is open to Canadian, international, established, young and emerging fibre and textile artists.
Deadline for proposals is May 29, 2018.
Artists are invited to submit proposals to participate in the following categories:
Textile Art InstallationsThis outdoor laboratory will bring together artists in the creation of textile art installations along a 1.5 km walking trail at Moon Rain Centre for Textile Arts.
Artists will be paired in teams of 1 emerging artist with 1 experienced artist. Teams will collaborate on the creation of an outdoor textile art installation which integrates textile arts into the natural environment. Click on the links below to download the installation application form. |
ExhibitionsA spectrum of textile arts will be presented in collaboration with exhibition centres throughout the Outaouais region.

Conservation and Preservation of Textile Art
Workshops and Master ClassesArtists are invited to submit proposals for hands-on textile art workshops and Master Classes.

Documentary Film Presentations
Documentary FilmsWe invite proposals for documentary films on contemporary, traditional, cultural or historic textile art practices and textile based projects.
